I have 7 years of experience in Marketing. Initially, creating content for digital channels of small
business and then as a Strategist, Branding and Performance consultant. I worked as Marketing educator as well;

12 years of experience in the audiovisual market, as a Senior Video Editor and Content Producer;

I was a partner at MOG Comunicação (MOG Communication), a marketing agency, from 2016 to 2023;

Master's in Creative Industries;

However, it all started at the Journalism course when I graduated with an emphasis on multimedia.

Branding

Branding is commonly seen only as the visual identity or some aesthetic touch point of the brands. That is correct. But it is simply the surface. If we think on the word "Marketing", we have "market" + "ing". It denotes a continous action, in other words, it is the action of "putting the market in movement". The same happens with "Branding". The actions that must be done to continuously improve the reputation, the standards, the reliability and the - why not - love for a brand in customers minds (and, specially, hearts). Everything related to a brand is a message that matters.

Down below, you can see some branding projects that I led.

For Fisher - "For All Anglers"

Campaign made in 2018 for "For Fisher", a new brand at the time, whose central idea was creating clothes and accessories for anglers to express their passion in everyday's life, even while they are wearing casual dresses.

My role in this production was:

  • Argument: I created the core of the screenplay and approved the storyboards;
  • Proofreading of the voiceover text and aproval;
  • Video Production: I coordenated the scenes at the recording location;
  • Video Editing: I made the final cut of the video campaign.

Marjorie

Marjorie is a brazilian "comfortable, but beautiful and sustainable" female shoes concept brand. It was a Branding Strategy, Naming, Visual Identity, Shot Production and Social Media client from 2019 to 2020.

The idea was to build a modern brand. Elegant, but sustainable, beautiful, but comfortable and durable.

The backbone concept was the word "Essential". Shoes a woman could wear to go to work and to a party. For everyday, for every woman.

The name of the brand is a woman's name, Marjorie, to create a first conection right away.

In Brazil, specially in late 2019, Instagram was the big thing, so we gave thorough attention to that channel. Branding is channel strategy too.

Content

Note: The videos are all (except one of a client) in portuguese. So I strongly recomend to turn on the subtitles and set them up to english automatic translation. In my tests, they did an excelent job.

Content is the main and everyday touch point of a brand with its target audience. It is the branding embassador, the marketing frontline. Content is not marketing itself, but marketing needs strategic content.

Let us start with the samples of contents that I produced with myself. We had a clear positioning in our marketing agency: being known as marketing thinkers and educators before everything. Thus, the contents that we made followed that direction. Always.

In this video I explain the Amazon Prime strategy of "giving money" to earn new customers and how it is related to the CAC (Customer Aquisition Cost).

FakeCast Parody

As the video podcasts nuggets spread throughout the internet, the number of fake videos simulating a podcast grows as well. So, thinking about the trend and the critic we should make, we decided to do that using humor.
